Vic Firth drum mutes are made of non-slip pure rubber for realistic action. This Prepak includes 10", 12", and 2 - 14" drum mutes; your choice of 20" or 22" bass drum mute; 2 cymbal mutes; and one hi-hat mute. The bass drum mute is made of dense foam and attaches to the bass drum with Velcro. The cymbal mutes fit 16"-18" and 18"-20" cymbals.
With so many on offer these days, it is great to have a name you can trust. This item is certainly that and will be a perfect buy. The distributor have added some great touches and this equals great value.

Really good!
These serve their purpose very well. They quiet the drums enough that people aren't annoyed but you can still play on your own or with a track. The one problem I have had is that some of the pads move. The snare (which I play at a slight angel) is the biggest problem. It slipped off a lot until I put a piece of duck tape underneath it, problem solved. The other issue was with the kick cover. It's held on by adhesive velcro that attaches to the drum and the pad. The adhesive on the pad kept falling off. I solved this with some gorilla glue. Haven't had any problems since.
If you need a quiet solution for your playing, I highly recommend these. They're great quality at an even greater price!

Overall worth the money
I bought these mute pads with my amazon money from Christmas because I got a drum set from my parents for Christmas. They do the job they are supposed to do, but they are a bit iffy on the fittings for the toms. The mutes tend to slide off the mounted toms after you hit the tom if the mutes are too big, so I recommend cutting down the mutes to fit your drum. The rubber is high quality like the ad says. For the cymbals you get about 60% less sound than without the mutes, for the kick (bass) drum its mutes the sound to about 70-75% less than without the mute, the toms are muted to a shocking 95% less sound, and the snare get about 85% less sound which is good because I still want to be able to hear my snare drum while I'm practicing. The floor tom and snare drum mutes don't have much chance to slide off because they are flat and fit perfectly but the tom mutes will slide off if not sized correctly. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND UPGRADING TO A FASTER SHIPPING IF YOU LIVE IN THE MIDWEST TO EAST...
Durable & Easy to Use
Typical good quality product from Vic Firth. Mutes are solid, durable, and easy to put on and take off. They substantially reduce sound, although you can still hear a little bit of tone (enough to distinguish different drums and cymbals).
