Good drum set
My husband is a drummer, and is happy with the quality of this set, but more importantly, my son LOVES them... they both do. With the exception of the top hat and snare, I was able to put them all together myself (I play violin, not drums) so it must be fairly easy. The snare sounded horrible until my husband futzed with it, they have some weird made up thing inside, like a wire paintbrush resting on the top drum head, not a real snare. That would be my only complaint I guess, but now that he's worked on it, it sounds great.

Great customer service
I purchased this set for my 2 young grandchildren - they love it! I initially had some parts that needed replaced and the folks at Musicians Discount Warehouse went above and beyond the call to make sure this was resolved. Their shipping is super fast, they stayed in touch via email and telephone, and even when I mistakenly asked for the wrong part, they were very accommodating and sent the RIGHT piece! If I thought I could handle TWO drum sets for the children, I would do it, but for now, they'll have to share!!
Fantastic deal
Purchased for my 2 year old daughter. She has shown a real interest in drumming and this was so exciting for her. Didn't want to spend a lot of money for a high quality name brand but this drum so far has been well worth the money. Much better than I expected. She uses about everyday and she plays hard! Although we did have a problem with one of the pieces it is being replaced by MDW. They have excellent customer service and have been very helpful. We are not expert drummers but I think this drum is very good quality for a junior set. But I may replace the crash and high hat symbols to get a more real sound. They are a bit off but again for the price you can't beat it! Assembly looks scary but once y start it's a breeze. Basically the same thing for every drum. Just don't over tighten any screws. That would be the only con. The screws strip easily. Overal excellent drum set and your kids will love it!
