With so many on offer these days, it is great to have a name you can trust. This item is certainly that and will be a perfect buy. The distributor have added some great touches and this equals great value.

A good first drum kit
This drum kit was relatively easy to assemble, though one of the toms had a poorly mounted arm holder which needed to be repositioned to match the hole in the drum.
The one cymbal that came with the kit is very thin, just a bit of pressed brass. It's easily dinged. I would have gladly paid a wee bit more for a kit with a better cymbal that can take more abuse.
All in all, for the price, it's a good first kit to learn the drums with. Just don't go crazy with the cymbal.
I recommend tossing a pillow in the kick, and getting a set of E-rings to give the kit a more rock sound if you want it.

Gammon 5-piece drum set
Very happy with our purchase. My son is just starting out with drums, so the set hasn't been put through the rigors. Looks nice & wasn't difficult to assemble.
Great bang for your buck
If you're purchasing this product for someone who is just beginning to play the drums or someone who just likes to dabble in music but isn't super serious about playing, than this is the perfect drum set for just such an occasion.
